Recognizing Decades of Service

At the recent LiUNA Local 837 Pin Ceremonies, we had the privilege of recognizing members who have dedicated 25 – 70 years of service to the union — and to building the very foundation of Hamilton and the surrounding communities.

These are the individuals who paved the way. Through decades of hard work, skill, and commitment, they helped shape our skyline, strengthen our infrastructure, and ensure that union values remained at the heart of every project. Their contributions extend far beyond the jobsite — they built opportunity, stability, and a future for the next generation of workers.

True leadership is measured not only by years of service, but by the legacy left behind. The members honoured at this ceremony led by example, setting the standard for safety, professionalism, and solidarity. Because of their dedication, today’s members benefit from stronger protections, better working conditions, and a union that continues to thrive.

We extend our deepest gratitude to each member recognized for their years of service. Your work has left a lasting mark on our communities and our union. Thank you for your service, your leadership, and the legacy you continue to inspire.

Daniel and Fernando, 70 year members.
