DESCRIPTION:Every year workers are injured as a result of traffic-related i
 ncidents while performing work in and around public roadways. The Regulati
 ons for Construction Projects require employers to have a traffic protecti
 on plan in place to ensure that workers are protected. In addition\, a spe
 cific traffic control plan\, designed to protect both workers and road use
 rs\, must be developed and available.\n\nThis program assists those respon
 sible for creating\, implementing\, and/or overseeing traffic control in t
 emporary work areas to develop an effective traffic control plan. Particip
 ants are taught using typical layout case studies\, Ontario Traffic Manual
  (OTM) Book 7\, and the Regulations for Construction Projects.
