DESCRIPTION:This three-day training program teaches participants how to saf
 ely operate a mobile crane with a lifting capacity of up to 8 tons (16\,00
 0 lbs). It covers the key skills and knowledge needed to work safely with 
 mobile cranes in different job environments. Participants will gain a unde
 rstanding of: types of 0–8-ton mobile cranes\, parts and components of a
  mobile crane\, laws and safety regulations that apply to crane operation\
 , common hazards and how to manage them\, how to keep a mobile crane stabl
 e while lifting\, how to inspect a crane before use\, steps to safely set 
 up the crane on a job site\, basic rigging and load-handling techniques\, 
 clear and effective communication on site\, how to create a lift plan and 
 safe operating procedures and best practices. The program includes both cl
 assroom instruction and hands-on training using a mobile crane. By the end
  of the course\, participants will be able to safely operate a 0–8-ton m
 obile crane. New operators are encouraged to work under the supervision of
  an experienced operator when starting out.
