SUMMARY:Joint Health and Safety Certification (Part I)
DESCRIPTION:The Workers Health &amp\; Safety Centre developed this program 
 to help workplaces meet their legal responsibility to provide the first ph
 ase of Certification training to members of joint health and safety commit
 tees in Ontario.\n\nThis program\, critical to securing safer\, healthier 
 work\, is applicable to workplaces in all sectors. Delivered over a three-
 day period\, this program gives participants a complete understanding of o
 ccupational health and safety legislation\, including rights and responsib
 ilities of workplace parties and certified representatives on joint health
  and safety committees in particular.\n\nThis will include a full discussi
 on about the Internal Responsibility System (IRS) and the purpose and requ
 irements of workplace health and safety policies and programs. Equally imp
 ortant\, participants learn how to identify\, assess and control\, or bett
